Santorini is the Island that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. When I started photograph destination weddings, Santorini was my top booked location. Discovering the island found the most beautiful places for a photoshoot. I love the busy cobbled streets, stairs, alleys, mews and of course the view. The Capital is Fira but the most picturesque village of Santorini is Oia, which is one of the the best options if you want to watch the spell-binder sunsets. It offers also a stunning views including the unspoiled beaches, fish taverns and tiny churches along the coastline. The caldera sunset view in Fira is probably the perfect wedding location with stunning light conditions almost every day, a Santorini wedding photographer cannot even imagine better.
The villages are crammed with white typical Cycladic houses with navy-blue painted windows facing the black volcanic rock of the caldera: a sight that has inspired photographers, artists and of course tourists, lovers, couples, especially in the sunset when the horizon is tainted by the amazing colors of pale red and orange. You will be inspired by the stunning views that every corner of the town has to offer.
